We are both in recovery, but after 32 years of sobriety, my ex decided to start drinking alcohol and smoking weed again. She has taken up with a nice fellow who shares her renewed lifestyle, and she seems really happy, and actually seems more healthy mentally. And I’m happy for her. So if the opposite of love is indifference, then a lack of indifference must mean love.
