When my daughter was born my wife got a tubal along with her c section so I didn't bother getting a vasectomy. I wasn't having sex with anyone else plus I was living in Texas and that shit can get expensive. 20 years later my marriage ended and I went out and got a vasectomy after the first time I had sex with someone who could theoretically get pregnant. What kills me is the guy who performed the procedure asked me if I was sure I wanted it. I said I'm 53 years old, of course I do. I don't understand why anyone in the medical profession should do anything to talk anyone out of a permanent form of birth control. Especially when they are in their 50's.
